Pregnant with her fourth child, Valorie opened HappyLand as a place for moms and dads to come and relax while their children have access to unlimited fun and freedom of expression through imaginative play. Vicki Neumann began visiting HappyLand around its one year anniversary. Vicki, being a wall muralist and former teacher, immediately saw the future growth opportunities for this small, creative and fun business. Vicki became partners with Valorie and these two mothers are so excited to watch HappyLand grow throughout the metroplex. "Owning HappyLand is not only allowing us to be with our children on a daily basis, but it also gives us the satisfaction of working for ourselves. Between the two mothers, they have seven children ranging in ages from one to nine and they don't spend a minute away from the younger ones. Their children benefit from their mothers owning a business, being creative, socializing with others and being proud of their productive days. As of April 1st, HappyLand's sole owner is Valorie; Vickie has ventured on to pursue her mural business. We wish her lots of luck and success. |

Happyland was born in October, 2002, when the original owner, Valorie Reynolds decided North Texas needed a place, indoors, for young children to play, and also provide a private place for birthday parties. She then acted on her idea and -VOILA!- HappyLand became more than just a dream.
